Polycarbonate (or Lexan®) is a plastic material that is known for its durability and is often used when a resistant, tough material is required for labels and tags. It can be used for control panels, nameplates, graphic overlays, membrane switches, and variable serial tags. Polycarbonate is suitable for branding purposes and is durable enough for tough environments like oil fields.
Lexan® labels and tags from Drake are designed to be weather & chemical resistant and to maintain appearance, longevity, legibility and functionality of information under tough conditions. Resistant to chemicals such as caustic soda, petro diesel, and emulsifiers.
Assembly Services are Available (shown above & below).
Drake Industries' Lexan® applications are available in thicknesses of .005″ to .030″ and can be printed and die cut to customer design, including PMS color matching. Variable data such as serial and barcode information is easily supported, as are a variety of acrylic, pressure sensitive adhesive options.
