Tim Moore, President & CEO

Tim brings to Drake more than 30 years experience in operations, general management, systems engineering and quality control.  As President and CEO of Drake Labels, Inc. for the past five years, Tim oversees company operations and strategic planning. Prior to joining Drake, Tim held management positions at MaxServ, Novell, MediaNet, and Texas Instruments.  During his career he has gained a wealth of experience in manufacturing, systems engineering, and B2B marketing and sales.  This expertise has allowed him to skillfully guide and grow the company.

Tim is a Vietnam era veteran having served as an artillery officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. During that time he received the Humanitarian Service Medal for personal actions related to the safe resettlement of refugees.  In recent years, his community service activities have been as a Boy Scout leader, Chairman of the Austin Call Center Alliance, and as a board member for the Rawson-Saunders School for Dyslexic Children.  He holds a BS degree from The Citadel, an MBA from St. Edward’s University, and a post-graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Clay Boykin, VP Sales & Marketing

Clay brings to Drake more than 30 years experience in business development, marketing, brand development, operations, and general management.  As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Drake Labels, Clay oversees the service and support of our existing client base, and the development of new customer relationships. Prior to joining Drake, Clay was with Motorola for twenty-two years and served in various global marketing and operations roles. After Motorola Clay spent several years in leadership roles with two start-up companies focused on the electronic kiosk and digital sign markets.

Clay is a former U.S. Marine Corps artillery officer and served in the U.S. and Okinawa, Japan. Since moving to Austin in 1980 Clay has served in several volunteer positions including communications chair-person for the Austin-area United Way, board member of the Austin Dispute Resolutions Center, board member of his church, and has been a member of Leadership Austin for the past 20 years. Clay holds a BS degree in Engineering Technology/Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.
